Huckabee supporters aren't all "Social Conservative white evangelicals". In fact, none of the people I'm working with locally to support Mike fall into that category, including myself. Heck, I haven't been to church for 6 or 7 years! Huckabee supporters come from all walks of life and are just tired of establishment "big business" republicanism that Romney represents. (Although he keeps changing positions so it's hard to know what he represents) It's no wonder Romney doesn't support the FairTax. With his millions of dollars and lawyers and lobbyists, it's easy for him to manipulate the system to favor himself vs any small business rival that tries to compete but doesn't yet have the resourses. And if Romney is so wonderful, why after all the money he has spent (wasted) is he still BELOW Huckabee in the polls? And not just the GOP polls. According to Zogby and others, Huckabee beats the democrats, especially Hillary, by the largest margin of any other GOP candidate! Did you see the recent Rasmussen numbers showing core opposition? Romney is just as high in negative perceptions as Hillary is! That is not electable! It would make a race against Hillary an even playing field from the start. So, respectfully, your assertions are just flat wrong.
