Brag a Little!

Bookmark and Share

As Mike Huckabee's poll numbers continue to edge upward, I'd like to donate some space here for others to "brag a little" about what you are doing to help.  I've been spending a lot of time on the Huck's Army forums recently. I'm a moderator...kinda hafta. :)   I posted this there, but figured I'd give my regular blog readers something to respond to as well.

Fellow Huck's Army recruits!
I am so excited about how this forum is taking off! So many people are contributing time, ideas, and energy that it really makes one think we can actually pull this off.
I wanted to start this thread to give folks an opportunity to brag a little about what they are constructively doing right now for the Mike Huckabee campaign.
It takes more than blogging to crown a victor in this race. There is a great
thread regarding how everyone should be signing up for their Meetup groups. (And participating in them!)
An old saying is that "all politics is local". How true that is. While this is a national campaign, each and every one of us has a role to play in convincing our friends and neighbors that Mike Huckabee is the candidate to lead us into the future. I'll do my part, you do yours, and we'll meet at the inauguration!
From this day forward (we're looking to the future, not the past) what will you do to actually make Mike Huckabee a household name?
Brag a little about your acomplishments! By posting something real here, you automatically receive my kudos. You also may inadvertently give someone else an idea of what to do.
Teamwork folks. Let's Roll!
Tonight I attended the York County GOP meeting wearing a Huckabee sticker and talking with folks about Mike. Another gentleman at the same meeting handed out flyers showing the on-site vote totals from last weekend's FRC Summit in DC.

Saturday I will be working a Huckabee booth at the local Tega Cay Fall Festival. We'll have Huckabee handouts and volunteer signup forms.

Monday I'll be attending a meeting with local supporters to organize the phone banking and door to door we'll be doing for Huckabee locally. We have signs coming. They will be put out soon.

Ok, who's next to step up?

I have been educating a lot of folks on Gov. Huckabee through my large e-mail listing, maybe too much, but one thing is for sure , they know who Mike is. Also, Kathy of redneck.com and I are going to a national district republican meeting to hand out material and to put Huckabee on the map with these people. We are hoping for a large artery of support tot open up.

I have put my meetup into a wide spread, hoping for members to sign up in support of Mike. I am not fussy either as to where. I have even reached from Michigan to Florida to get family involved.

It seems like we a lot of time to get things done, but it is not so. With the holidays coming up,, we have about 4 weeks before for some states and a couple of weeks for others and only another 2 weeks before super Tuesday.
I have on a Huckabee hat at all times when out and about. I take every opportunity when talking to anyone to raise up the name of Huckabee. People are receptive to hearing about Him.

This is veering slightly off topic, but since I am the Kathy George is talking about, I want to say that without the help of the internet we would not have been able to collaberate and brainstorm. Teamwork is what gets the job done and the most effectiveness. When more than one person works together everyone gets more confidence that they are doing things right, thus leading to even bigger and better brainstorming.
BTW, my blog name is michiganredneck.blogspot.com.
After the meeting I will be posting pictures of the meeting and details of what went down. Wait ’til ya see what I did with an ordinary envelope box, to look pretty displayed on the Huckabee table. Romney people will be so jealous ;) .

I know you Kathy! We’ve chatted over at either ktracy or Jeremy’s site at huckabee.wordpress.com.
The internet is indeed an amazing tool. If it can put folks together to work for a cause, it has done its job well.
I look forward to viewing your pictures. Good luck!

I know this is an older post, but I have been trying my best to keep my blog updated with pertinent information about Mike Huckabee. You can also ask the guys I work with and they will tell you I never miss a chance to talk to people about Huckabee. Most responses have been positive and a few have been negative, but I have not backed off from spreading the word about our candidate.
