Worst Timing Ever…

Harry PotterWell OK, I picked the worst time ever to start a blog.  Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in hand as of 2:00am on July 21.  759 pages to go. :-)

For at least something Huckabee related, I'll say that I'm very exited about something.  MSNBC First Read has posted articles about all the Blogger conference calls with Mike.  I had been less than thrilled with the comments that followed the coverage...until now.  Not only didthe recent call generate more posts than usual, but for the first time, a much larger percentage of the comments were postive pro-Huckabee.  I think things are starting to happen!

Of course, there will always be a share of negativity, to which I left the following post...kind of in an exasperated mood.

Mike Huckabee is a breath of fresh air!
I can't believe people are still talking about his evolution position.
His eloquent answer in the debate pretty much ended that discussion.
He may be a Christian, but he isn't forcing it down peoples throats or
blowing up his children over it.
Furthermore, he is the strongest supporter of the FairTax currently running
for President.  That by itself gets my vote.
I wish the media would stop trying to force certain candidates on us.
My mother was recently polled, and her only choices were "the big three" or
"undecided".  She wasn't undecided, she supports Mike Huckabee!  Perhaps the poll numbers you people like to criticize with would grow if the "second tier" candidates were actually allowed to participate in an election apparently being run by kingmakers!

There's my piece.  See the rest of you Muggles after the book. :-)

PS.  I'd label Mike as a Hufflepuff...and I'll gladly accept comments on that!
